"Yeah." Gavin shrugged. He'd had 3 years to get over the age thing. Lots of Hobs experimented decently early. Didn't mean that they expected to be a 15-year-old dad. "Thought the pull out method worked. Turns out it doesn't." He laughed.

"Yeah it'll be fun to have her here. Lots of babysitters around too." Everyone wanted to play with the little kid so that helped.

"Got it. How big is the pack?" He looked up at how tall the trees were above them.

She laughed with him. "Nope, it does not. That's why I've got the ring thing." You know, in case he needed to know that. Either way...

"I'll bet. So she's pretty cute?" She expects she'll be getting some pictures to see soon, if he wanted to share.

"I don't even know. Around twenty? We moved away from them so... I'm not sure."

"Smart." That was good to know and his solid nod kept it at that. He also smiled to her when he faced the sky. His eyes slid over to see if she was watching.

"The cutest." Of course. "Do you wanna see or does that totally ruin the mood?" It was kinda a joke. Kinda not. He really didn't mind putting a suggestion out there since they both knew what the benefit of being alone in the woods was.

"There's not a pack here? Like a new one?" He just assumed wolves jumped pack to pack. Really, he knew nothing.

"Seeing pictures of your daughter won't make me suddenly not want to fuck you, if that's what you mean." She holds out her hand with a grabby motion, indicating that he should show her the pics. Charlie's never had an issue with being to the point, at least.

"There's a pack but they aren't my pack."

Charlie definitely knew the right things to say! Like damn this werewolf girl was smart. Being to the point was another perk.

"Yeah yeah okay." He pulled out his phone. He could easily pull up a picture of a little girl that had short round horns like Gavin did. "That's her a few weeks ago when she was here last." He didn't do her hair but he had dressed her. Nattie had approved. "She put rocks in like everyone's shoes." Hobs and their pranks start young.

"Ooh. Okay. I feel you."

"She's adorable," she said, looking at the picture with a soft smile. "So she's a little troublemaker. I'm sure she doesn't get that from you." She teases, yeah, she may not know Gavin well but she can tell that he's not the type of person who follows the rules.

"It's in her blood." Literally and culturally. Hobgoblins were renowned for their pranks and trickery. "If she's lucky she won't get the bad luck of getting caught from me." Not that he had as of too terribly late but he knew her mother was better at getting away with her pranks than he was.

"Did you catch the radio broadcast last week? With the goats?"

"Radio broadcast?" Sorry, Gavin. Charlie's not up on the fact there's a radio show through the school. She's heard inklings but has never actually heard it.

"Yeah so Jay and me did a radio broadcast that the school was being invaded by vampire goats and stuff. It was pretty great. Almost got caught." He shrugged as if this was no big deal when it had actually caused some panic. "I think I can do better." He had some big plans brewing.

"How Orwellian of you," she laughs a bit, moving to walk over towards a little stream. "So what's the next plan then?"

"He was a famous Hob, you know." Quite the legend.

"What good is telling you? It's a surprise." he smiled and turned to her to wink. "Don't want to ruin the surprise."

"Hob?" Her brow furrows. "As... hobgoblin or...?"

"Yeah." Gavin laughed. His hand went to his forehead to brush back any hair that might be covering the two short round horns right before his hair line. Other than their cultural habits it was the only thing that really made them stand out. "Hobgoblin."

This might totally blow his cover for being Jay's brother now. Oh well.

"I've never met a hobgoblin before," she said with a smirk. "So you and Jay really are brothers from a different mother. Or sisters from a different mister."

"Now you have." He grinned just looking silly. "Don't confuse us with goblins. Those fuckers are assholes and give all of us a bad name." Often considered the uglier and greedier of the two races. "Nattie's the cutest one in existence too."

"That's right. Sisters from another mister." Sounded about right didn't it?

"So what's your thing? Hobgoblins... Like werewolves are all turn at a full moon, half-wolf, half-human, yadda, yadda." She didn't know much about hobgoblins. "Besides pranks, I guess."

Gavin shrugged and looked around. He hadn't thought much about it. "I mean going way back we used to only clean people's houses. Be slaves and stuff. Couldn't accept gifts or they are banished. Or just leave. Nowadays we just fuck with people and are maids." Most of them were pretty lower class by default and elements of their culture kept them there. "Oh! And we're great in bed." Yup. That's totally fact.

"So you need the full moon to change or you like do it whenever?" He asked without admitting how little he knew about werewolves too.

"Nice little addition you added there," she said, bumping his shoulder with her own before she moved to drop the leaf she had into the steam, watching it float down and away.

"No, I don't need it but it's easier closer to the full moon." And if she doesn't shift at the full moon she becomes a raging bitch.

"What? I just figured it was a fun fact you'd like to know now that you have me here alone. That's all." Acting all innocent about it. He was decent at keeping a straight face when he needed to. "You think an incubus is sexy well then you haven't been with a Hob." He even huffed like he just couldn't stress enough what a big deal this was.

"What do you like to do when you shift?" He watched her leaf drift away down the stream. "Have you been able to shift since you were like. I dunno. A puppy?"

"You'll probably have to prove it because I'm skeptical." Yeah, she's just egging him on because it's more fun that way. Of course, when he spoke about shifting, she shook her head. "I don't really like shifting, I've always hated it."

There was the perfect opening he needed to move in a little closer. He was pretty tall so he smiled down at her. "Challenge accepted." He grinned and leaned forward to kiss her and get this show on the road.

"No need to talk about it then." They had other things to do now right?

This is what they're here for, wasn't it? So she wasn't about to protest when he kissed her and if that meant not talking about the shift, all the better. Her hands moved to his chest for balance then to curl into the fabric of his top to tug him in a little closer.

This Charlie girl was so much hotter than he saw coming. Gavin kissed her and pressed himself against her when she pulled him in. His hands were on her body as soon as he was able to get them to her tiny waist. He kept his lips locked with hers as long as he could and hummed as if he liked the taste.

The moment their mouths part, her smirk is playful and impish, her eyes meeting with his. "Do you wanna fuck me, Gavin?"

"Yeah." It wasn't a surprise and she should have seen that answer coming. "Do you wanna fuck me, Charlie?"
